Andrée Carter

Andrée is very aware of the impact that her semi transparent sheets of sensual liquid color have on the viewer and uses that attraction that we have to her work to draw you in to visually exploring the rich layers of color in her work. The textures are real and liquid as you find yourself peering deep into her work exploring again and again. Her mature work plays your visual interest as you move from work to work realizing subtle nuance and counterpoint not apparent at first glance.
