David Kinsey

David Kinsey is a painter who is clearly in love with paint. His unabashed joy in pushing the medium to express bold color, explosive energy and taunt compositions impresses the viewer. His vivid exploration is structured in strong solid steps that create deep reactions and attachment by the viewer. The liquid sensual layering of color and texture keeps the viewer coming back for another bite at this banquet of color.
David has an MFA from Yale and has exhibited nationally. He has been awarded a Ringling Art Fellowship fellowship and currently teaches at Ringling School of Art.
