Anne Mondro

Mondro

Anne Mondro is exhibiting work from her “Vulnerable “series. Her stark display of figures confronts the viewer and opens a very personal emotional channel. She created the figures solely to pose and model them as she shoots images of them that are manipulated to become her finished print. The interplay of space between and around her figures interplay with the edges of her work to set tensions and portrays intimacy and relationships that draws the viewer in.
Anne holds a MFA from Kent State University and is currently teaching at the University of Michigan. She has exhibited nationally and internationally.
